Originally conceived, born and operated as two separate companies in 1997, Wild Dog Safaris & Crazy Kudu Safaris always had a close association for the first eight years of their separate existence. Both companies operated their first safaris in July 1997 and over the ensuing years, individually built up respected trading names within the Namibian tourism industry.

On 1st June 2005 Wild Dog & Crazy Kudu formed a merger, joining forces to become one of Namibia’s largest mobile safari operators, and the biggest company in Namibia to specialise in camping safaris.
All scheduled safaris have guaranteed departures with no minimum numbers. When clients book with us, they can be sure that their safari will run, regardless of how many other people are booked on the trip.
There is also a separate a separate programme of tailor-made safari departures. With this side of the business we design and create individual itineraries for our clients, still specialising in groups, but also offering mobile safari travel to any level required, whether it be basic camping or five star luxury.
On 15th April 2007 Allan Kirby passed away.
